Wool soft sculpture artist Metzli

     Metzli studied sculpture in college.After graduating from university, she became a brand designer. She had a roommate, a cat named Billy. Not long after, her mother who lived in the mountains was in poor health, so she took Billy back to her hometown to take care of her mother.      Half a year later, little Billy fell ill and left this world. In order to commemorate her lovely roommate, she made a three-dimensional portrait of Billy with wool felt and hung it in the living room, as if Billy had never left her.

     Later, some friends saw the pet portraits she made and liked them very much, so they commissioned her to make three-dimensional portraits for their pets. Not long after, Metzli founded a 3D soft sculpture studio, which specializes in serving friends who keep pets, and at the same time, provides employment opportunities for sisters in her hometown.
